SUNNY FOUND HIS FOREVER HOME!

AFTER VISITING MY MOM TO SAY GOODBYE, SUNNY WENT TO HIS FOREVER HOME THIS AFTERNOON!!!! DOODLEKISSES MEMBER CALISTA, HER HUSBAND, AND THEIR BIG, BEAUTIFUL, BLACK DOODLE, SADIE, WILL BE SUNNY'S NEW FAMILY. WE ARE SAD TO SEE SUNNY GO, BUT SO EXCITED FOR HIM TO START HIS NEW LIFE. HE IS GOING TO HAVE A SLIGHT NAME CHANGE WHICH WILL SUIT HIM JUST FINE! I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO UPDATES AND PICTURES.

Comment by Richard Crowe on September 26, 2011 at 10:27am: It makes my heart happy when I see the transformation from unkempt canine to a beautiful dog who is obviously loved by the family with whom the dog lives. Doodles and Maltese both can look pretty ragged unless they get the care they need and deserve. On the other side of the coin, however, even the most ragged doggie catapillar soon turns into a beautiful butterfly with some TLC.

She has already figured out that it is easier to give Sunny the toy she has and just get another. Pretty soon she will probably figure out to get a toy she doesn't really want first, give it to him, and then get the one she really wants.
