Is THAT a Doodle?!...Yep, that's Matilda (Mattie for short).

I've never seen a Doodle that looks like Mattie before.  My kids say that she looks like cookies and cream ice cream...and she does!

Poor girl was abandonned at my vet clinic, tied to the bench out front for our staff to find.  The Dr. examined her and said that she is about 9 months old and healthy.  She is a bit under-weight for her size but, with some good feeding, she should fill out nicely.

I get stopped by people wherever I take Mattie.  Everyone wants to know what kind of dog she is.  The Vet guessed that she was maybe Harlequin Great Dane and Poodle but, after consulting with Jacquie and Liz, we determined that she is Catahoula Leopard Dog and Standard Poodle.  What a combination!  Her coat is gorgeous and her ears are soft, like velvet!

She has the best temperment and is incredibly sweet and gentle with my kids.  She has great potty manners, walks on a leash really well and rides in the car great too.  She can sit, shake, and gives high fives.

My family is going to miss her when she finds her forever home.  She is so easy to have around and she can be quite a clown and keeps us laughing.  I know someone will find it in their heart to give this unique Doodle a second chance at life in a loving home...she so deserves it.

Mattie is striking!  It looks like she will need to find her forever home soon - if she grows much her legs won't fit in her comfy bed anymore.  :)

Oh, she's a stunner!

Mattie is about 60 pounds but, she is really tall.  She's still a gangly puppy and needs to gain some weight and fill out a bit.  I'm sure she'll be over 70 lbs. full grown.  I know some of you are concerned about her being too far away but, she travels really well in a car :).

What a cutie. I would have guessed great dane too. How big is she. And who could possibly do that to this puppy? I can only hope they really had her best interest in mind when tying her to that bench . . .

A really good thing that she is in Texas.  This Ohio girl doesn't need another one,  but it sure would be tempting!  She's a beauty.  And a real threat to my controlled hoarding instincts.  lol

She is absolutely beautiful!  I had to look where you lived just in case my pack needed a third dog.  Glad you are in Texas and I'm in Georgia.  Happy New Year for your family and especially for Mattie, she's going to find her forever home in no time.
