Where are you located?
Easthampton, MA
Tell us about yourself and how we might help you:
I am a doodle lover and owner of Lilly, a five year old F1 labradoodle. In October 2010, we adopted Inky through DRC. Inky is a nine month old black F1 labradoodle who is an absolute love! Inky was fostered by Tracy, who took amazingly good care of her and loved her like her own.
Do you currently own a dog? If not, have you owned dogs as an adult, with vet records in your own name (not parents' names)?
Lilly and Inky have become beautiful friends. They spend their time together running in the yard, wrestling on whatever carpet they can find, and talking to their humans in hopes of getting lots of petting and treats.
Have you read our adoption policies, located under the "About DRC" tab?
Lilly was a re home through pet finder when she was six months old. I have had both a poodle and a shitzapoo in the past and loved the lack of shedding. While Lilly is a shedder, her doodle personality won us over. I can't imagine not having a doodle in my life - they have so much personality! Having 2 doodles is twice the fun and I love the bond that they have with each other.
Are you now involved in Rescue? If so, how? Are you interested in volunteering with our rescue?
I have not been involved with rescue, other than adopting our Lilly and Inky. While I don't have the time to do any direct foster work, I would consider helping in other ways as I have time.

Inky is home in Massachusetts!

It's been quite a week for Inky. Monday afternoon she left the loving arms of Foster Mom Tracy and her family (human and dog), boarded the first of two airplanes in Texas, and seven hours later met us, her new family, in Hartford, CT. We were all a little nervous about the trip and the introductions. Once off the plane and out of her crate, Inky's tail was up within 2 minutes. Introductions between Inky and Lilly (our 5 year old F1 labradoodle) went flawlessly in the parking lot, and… Continue

Thank you so much for calling me to let me know Inky landed safely. You put a protective foster mama's heart at ease :). I am going to LOVE to hear about all of her new adventures with your family! I hope she and Lily are snuggling up right now :). Have a great day off getting acquainted tomorrow...and know that I'm always just a phone call away.

Hi Carolyn,
Welcome to the site. I'll be in touch with you soon. I'm the "travel diva" of DRC. I love your doodle's halloween costume, she kind of looks like "ET"!!
