I have a 7 year old Goldendoodle and recently adopted a "Labradoodle" from a rescue/ pound. I'd like to send photos to see if you think he's really a Doodle. I love him and have been treating him like a king, no matter what he is, but just curious.
Do you currently own a dog? If not, have you owned dogs as an adult, with vet records in your own name (not parents' names)?
Max, 7 year old Goldendoodle and Barkley, a 2 year old Labradoodle.
If you are looking to adopt a doodle, why have you chosen this mix?
Found on the interney
Have you read our adoption policies, located under the "About DRC" tab?
Are you aware that many doodles are not allergy friendly and that many of them do shed?
Are you aware that we do not adopt to homes with children under 10, and that we do not adopt dogs for service work?
Are you now involved in Rescue? If so, how? Are you interested in volunteering with our rescue?
Long involved with Golden Rescue and J and L Rescue of Fairhope.
You can also go to my page and in the comment box you can click on the second icon (looks like a photo with a white frame) and load one picture there. I think you might want multiple opinions though, so joining doodlekisses and posting a discussion with a picture there would give you the most opinions. http://www.doodlekisses.com/
Your home page should say ADD PHOTOS. You can click on that and it should guide you through adding photos from your computer. Be sure to hit Save or Upload or whatever it says to complete the process. I also think you should join doodlekisses where there are tons of member photos you can look at to 'match' your newest dog to.
Barbara, if you have the photos on your computer, just click the little photo icon right above this box. There is no central email that will allow us to see the photos. The email is for rescue business. You can also just post a link to a photo if you have them on another site.
Welcome, Barbara. You can post here. Let me know when you do so I will see them. Also there is another website you might enjoy that is for doodle owners. It is called doodlekisses.com It is a social website with groups for grooming, nutrition and you can even post a discussion on the main page with pictures of your new guy and ask what others think or if they have a doodle that resembles your newest pup.
