Lily is my first doodle. My previous dog of fourteen years, Angelique "Angie" passed away a year ago. Lily has come along just at the right time in each of our lives. I look forward to years of new memories with her.
Do you currently own a dog? If not, have you owned dogs as an adult, with vet records in your own name (not parents' names)?
Lily is a one and a half year old miniature labradoodle at 22.1 pounds. She loves verbal praise and human attention better than any food treats. She is a true lap dog. Lily was just spayed so she is taking it easy relaxing the next two weeks and transitioning from her foster home to mine. I could not be happier to welcome this new bundle of joy into my home :)
Have you read our adoption policies, located under the "About DRC" tab?
My doodle Lily was saved by Adrianne Matzkin and family from a kill shelter in Carroll County Ohio. I am very lucky that her foster family in Pittsburgh, PA has taken such wonderful care of her before I am able to adopt her.
Are you now involved in Rescue? If so, how? Are you interested in volunteering with our rescue?
I am new to Rescue. Lily is the the first dog I have ever brought into my family from DRC. I am looking forward to getting more involved with the doodle "family" in the future.
