I am a graduate student at the University of Denver. I am not sure how you can help me yet. I could foster a dog, but the only thing keeping me from that is I live in an apartment, and I don't have the money to care for two dogs.
Do you currently own a dog? If not, have you owned dogs as an adult, with vet records in your own name (not parents' names)?
I have a miniature female goldendoodle, Lola, she weighs about 32 lbs. She is the best thing ever, and she is very spoiled. I am pretty sure she eat healthier food than I do. :) Lola loves absolutely anything that walks, and she loves wrestling with other dogs (except for boxers).
Have you read our adoption policies, located under the "About DRC" tab?
I got my doodle from a breeder, Timshell Farms, in Texas. I got her to have a constant in my life, because I knew I was moving somewhere else. She seriously does so much for me, keeps me in shape and mentally healthy. I chose a doodle because I have really bad allergies. I break out in hives if some dogs lick me.
Are you now involved in Rescue? If so, how? Are you interested in volunteering with our rescue?
I signed up on the previous website, but have not for this website. I was originally in Austin, TX, and just received e-mails about Texas doodles, so it reminded me to do this. When I replied to the e-mails about Texas, she said they need help in Colorado.
