Labradoodle Rescue & Goldendoodle Rescue
We are sad to report that due to the demands of her wonderful new job as a veterinary assistant, and in order to spend more time with her family, DRC Texas Director Tracy Farmer is unfortunately forced to step down from her position as Texas Director for Doodle Rescue Collective Inc.
Always an avid supporter of rescue and an independent rescuer herself, Tracy joined our organization in 2009. Without batting an eyelash, Tracy graciously stepped up to the plate to manage all DRC rescue activities in the entire state of Texas in 2010. Besides being a wife and mother to three exceptional young children, Tracy held at the time, a full time job as a Vet Tech with Banfield Animal Hospital.
Somehow in between work and kids and managing a home and her own doodle menagerie, Tracy and her family fostered and rehabilitated over 20 doodles in need. Tracy also managed all DRC volunteer and veterinary coordination throughout the Lone Star State and the entire Southwestern region of the US. I'm sure you will all remember the beautiful photos of Tracy and her children Kaylee, Kari and Kyle with all of the DRC foster doodles that came through the Farmer home.
Tracy has graciously offered to help out with veterinary guidance and transport when needed in Texas and hopes to again foster DRC doodles in the future.
In the meantime, please join me in thanking Tracy and her family for all that they have done for DRC and doodles in need. Tracy we cannot begin to express how much we love and appreciate you! We wish you love and luck now and in the future. You and your family will always be part of our DRC family.

Tracy, you have done so many wonderful things for DRC! I've always admired how you seemed to be the one who was there - at the right time and place and saving another doodle. You have been amazing. I wish you the best in your new future, and know you will be dearly missed by DRC. Thank you, and I can only hope that a few fellow Texans can step up to fill the very big shoes you leave behind! Best of luck, and I know we'll still hear from you now and then!
Tracy, you know how much we love you!! And honestly don't know how we are going to live without you! :) Thank you so much for all you did for us in Texas!
Oh Tracy, you know that a million 'thank you' s would not be enough to express how grateful we are for you and your family for caring for Inky and bringing us together! I'm sure that the other families lucky enough to have received their babies from your caring arms feel the same. You are indeed a special person, and I know that you will touch those around you in whatever you do. Good luck with your new passions! We will always be grateful...
