WE adopted "Olivia" back in March. She is finally coming to us,kissing us and loving us. It takes a long time for them to trust again. We have two other doodles and I know thats what really helped her.Shes coming through the doors now instead of going through the screen. She still won't take treats from our hands but will raise her paw when we say "treats" Its sooo cute. WE love her to death and its just lkie we've always had her. Her eyes are happy now. Thank you for letting us adapt her so she has a family now.Her new name is Aja. Thank you Lynette Main...

Hi Lynette.....We are THRILLED that Aja is adjusting so beautifully to your home and your family!.....Would you believe that the breeder who surrendered her to us was actually considering having her put down? Can you imagine? All it took was a little patience and a lot of love to build her confidence and get her past her fears......

Ann is going to be so happy to read this when she returns from vacation!.....Thank you so much for sharing this with us..And thank you for giving Aja a chance and a home and family of her very own!

Remi rescued us two weeks ago.  In that time, she has taken over the house and we have become her slaves.  She is the sweetest, kindest, gentlest...you get where this is going, right!  We thought that nothing could replace or live up to our lab of 14 yrs that we lost last year.  Well, Remi has  done just that!  We are all getting more exercise, have a constant companion and someone to come home to.  We are so grateful!!!

Remi is so adorable!  Thank you for saving her...she's a special girl who finally found her forever special people!  And we are so grateful to you for everything you have done for DRC and I know Remi is thankful! :)

We adopted Barley in June this year and he is doing great. We are still trying to break him of a few bad habits as far as theiving and counter surfing but outside of that he is loving life in the Ianni house. We do find that he is terrified when my husband puts on his leather riding boots so that is a bit strange but we have managed to calm his fears.

He is a great frisbee catcher and loves the pool. He still sees his adoptive family now and then on our evening walks but has settled into our home and has staked his claim to our hearts forever.

OH MY GOODNESS...that is one handsome doodle...just look at that face!  We are so thankful to you for taking this sweet boy into your home...sometimes we are just in the right place at the right time and Barley was definitely in the right place when he found you! :)

Although we did not get Fenris from DRC, we did rescue him.  He has brought our family so much joy and has become a great companion for our other Labradoodle Leo. We love both of our dogs but we are especially happy to know that Fen is in a good home and has a loving family to take care of him, not to mention the good care and love he gives us in return!  Leo is the white labradoodle & Fen the black one.

My husband and I adopted Koda less than a month ago and he is an amazing boy!  We know he misses his previous owners, who have small children now, but we can’t imagine our lives without him.  I am crazy, silly, in love with him and my husband says “Koda, you came to dog heaven!”  Thank you DRC for working with us and for all you are doing to help find forever homes for doodles.

Congratulations on your new family member, Ellen! You all look very happy!

Ellen, thank you so much for the beautiful photo and update on Koda! I wanted to let you know that I just sent you a friend request through Facebook where DRC operates a very large, private DRC / rescue specific group. The group is primarily comprised of people who have adopted DRC doodles and our volunteers. I don't know how active you are on and with Facebook, but I would love to add you to that group if you are interested.
