Jenn, I checked and your application was not received. I am sorry. I am not very techie but I suggest that you save it to your desktop so that you don't have to re-do it if it doesn't go through again.
Jenn, this rescue is nation-wide, so there are dogs all over the country, including California. You said, "I also need someone who is nearly "allergy free", because of my lungs and going to the hospitals the less shedding the better." so I assumed that this is a health need that is on-going and perhaps escalating. This is why I suggested you look for non-shedding breeds - there are poodle rescues, shelters etc. that you can check out. Make sure the rescue is non-profit and fosters the dogs. You can certainly apply for a doodle with our rescue (application at the top of the page), I simply want to help you find the best fit for your needs. P.S. Doodles can be around children but we don't adopt to families with young children because many of our dogs are re-homes from families with young children who did not know how to be around dogs and 'mistreated' them.
I am sorry for your illness. Doodles would not be a good choice for you because they are a mixed breed and allergy-friendly cannot be guaranteed (allergy friendly really can't be guaranteed for any breed of dogs) even if they don't shed, however non-shedding breeds would be a better bet for you. Here is a link to the most allergy-friendly breeds: http://www.justdogbreeds.com/low-shedding-dog-breeds.html Good luck in your search.
