Please let me know when you have seen your vet; I will be happy to talk to you. I had a foster with megaesophagus and have known several other dogs with the condition. I may be able to help.

Hi Ron,
Dogs with MegaE can live good lives with a few adaptations. They can be fed in an upright position, often using what is called a Bailey chair, and looks like a child's high chair. https://www.baileychairs4dogs.com/
There are many other resources available. It depends on how severe the condition is and what other health issues there might be. 
Megaesophagus that develops after puppyhood is somewhat rare and is usually linked to some other health condition. Please make sure to get a thorough and accurate diagnosis before making any decisions about your dog's future. There are other health conditions that could cause vomiting and the inability to keep water and food down. Pyloric stenosis is one, and there are many others, and they are treatable.
