Thank you so much for responding to my interest so quickly! We are eager and ready to bring a small doodle into our family. We live in the southwestern corner of CT so that travel into NY and MA is an easy run for us. We spend a lot of time in the Berkshires in Western MA.
Thank you for the welcome. I live in Oklahoma City, OK. I moved here 3 years ago to be near my daughter and family. I am a licensed workers comp insurance adjuster and work from home about 3 days a week. I am close enuff to come home as well at lunch. I have a nice sized house and a lovely fenced in back yard. I live in a historical sidewalked community near downtown. I lost a beloved Golden Retriever mix recently due to cancer. I am happy to say she lived a long and loved life with me from the time I rescued her until the time she went to that rainbow in my arms. I love the nature of the golden. I feel compelled to give an adult fur kid a good home. I have a rather old pom mix. I have had him since birth. He is near 20 and still very spry. My kids live inside and only go outside when they want. They watch TV and sleep in soft warm beds. They get balls and lasers and even boiled chicken daily.
I have read the policies and the other information pertinent to the doodles. I really don't have a preference in mini or lab, etc. I would like a female if possible BC my old man is a man! LOL.
I have had dogs all my life. Goldens and Yellows are the two dogs that I have had for the better part of my life. My brother has had Doodles and I am very familiar with them. There are things that we could do for the rescue here in Central FL Indian Lake Estates
Yes, I understand, thank you for sharing the articles. We have/had 2 doodle so know what low shedding is vs. no shedding which in our experience does not exist. That being said, there are some that shed more than others, and we need to avoid a dog that sheds heavily.
