Our Doodle in Savannah GA needs a sister!

We have a 2 year female labradoodle and would like to get her a companion. We are looking for a female of similar age, and would consider a labradoodle or goldendoodle.

Joyce, you MUST submit an adoption application before any other contact will be made. An approved application is required as the very first step in being considered. The only reason the conversation below took place was that an application had already been submitted and reviewed. Submitting an application in no way obligates you, but it is necessary to be sure that you meet all adoption requirements before going any  further.

Debbie:  My name is Deborah and I'm in Atlanta.  DRC forwarded me your adoption application.  I am fostering Lettie.  Lettie is a 5 year old goldendoodle that was a breeder in New Jersey until January 27, 2014 when she and five of her sisters, daughters, etc. were surrendered to DRC because the breeder went bankrupt.  Lettie has been with me and her foster brothers since January 28, 2014.  Lettie is a love and I would love to correspond with you about her if you think you might be interested in her.  Although she is older than your labradoodle, she is really just learning to be a dog and there is a lot of puppy still in her.  She weighs 61 lbs, and is whiter than a golden color but she arrived shaved down so it is hard to describe her coat as of now.  It really looks like its going to be curly and it is very soft. In fact it looks a lot like your girl's coloring in your picture.   She gets along just great with my 7 year old GD and my 6 year old Bassweiler (he was a rescue and appears to be part Basset and part Rotweiler).  She is great with my cats and is learning to walk on a leash.  Let me know if you think you might be interested in her.
