MOXIE- A BERNEDOODLE FOSTERED IN WASHINGTON STATE ADOPTED!

PLEASE READ OUR ADOPTION POLICIES BEFORE APPLYING! first: http://doodlerescueinc.ning.com/…/DRC_ADOPTION_POLICIES_AND…

Moxie is a 10 month old male Bernedoodle  puppy who plays well with young dogs (but can be a pain to senior dogs). He was relinquished by his previous owner because she was older and he turned out to be too much (too strong, too energetic, etc) for her. He has been in foster care for 5 days now and he doesn't seem to have any real "issues."

His foster mom says this about Moxie:

"He is sweet and very friendly with people, very energetic/bouncy, jumps on you, wants to be on the couch with you. His coat is gorgeous and soft, but will require a trip to the groomer every 6 weeks, and a lot of brushing in between.

He seems to be potty trained, however, he does still have some nervous piddling when he feels confined such as coming out of the car while you're trying to hold him back to grab his leash. He's also dribbled on my friend's shoes while she was petting him. Not from shyness, but from being excited."

He is fine with kids, but because of his size and exuberance needs a home with older kids (10 and over only).

He will need home where his owner is home a great portion of the day.

He will need to attend training classes and learn leash manners because he's strong and pulls hard.

He will also need a securely fenced yard, physical fence only. No e-fences, no doggy doors.
