Parker is an older puppy who is ready to go to his new “furever” home. Parker may not be full grown yet. His estimated adult size is a large mini or small medium. His coat is a soft fleece that is light to non-shedding. Once he had a bath Parker turned from being a cream puppy to a white one.

He was picked up by Animal Control begging for food in a park in Hesperia, California. With no one claiming ownership he was released to rescue. Our best guess for his heritage is that he is a labradoodle.  As is often the case with dogs in shelters in California, Parker had Kennel Cough. He has been treated and is now healthy and ready to find his new family.

Parker loves other dogs and enjoys playing with his foster siblings. He initiates play and exhibits a self-confident assertiveness with the others. He has met the cat in his foster home.

His foster mom says that Parker walks on a leash and behaves appropriately when meeting other people and dogs on his walks.

At home, Parker alternates between snuggling his humans, playing with his foster siblings, and enjoying the California sunshine on the patio just outside his foster mom’s office.

Parker is neutered, microchipped, and UTD on all vaccines and preventives.

Parker wants a home with a playful dog or two (especially girl dogs) and a human or humans who have lots of time for snuggles. He needs a fenced yard to play in and a patio for watching the world go by. (Please note: DRC does not adopt to homes with children under the age of 10.)
