Meet Buddy! Available 1 YO Australian Labradoodle - N. CA, Lake Tahoe, Reno NV area

Buddy is a 1 YO M/n Australian Labradoodle that we took into our home last week for fostering & training. Buddy and his sister Scout were left in a backyard for a year, he had no contact outside his immediate family and no obedience training whatsoever.

Despite a rough start he is a friendly and very intelligent little guy with stunning green eyes! He is very shy with strangers but not unfriendly or aggressive. Even though he never lived indoors he is housebroken due to his age and the fact that we do let him out at regular intervals.

He gets along well with our little pack but sometimes overreacts to new dogs that he meets. Again, not aggressively but fearfully. He's made great progress in just a week and will continue to do so. We have him out in public every weekend and always introduce him to anyone we meet.

Buddy with his big foster brother Ernie, isn't he a cute little thing?

Chillaxin' on the back deck cushions:

Sure looks a lot different with a year's worth of hair!

He's a sweet, intelligent little dog that will require a home with a fenced yard (physical fence, no exceptions) and an owner that is very experienced and dedicated to giving him formal, ongoing obedience training so he can become the great companion he is destined to be!

Zoe, not really. Only had him a week and he is still very shy towards me but is fine with Susan. All I can say is submit an adoption application or email and tell them you are interested in either Scout or Buddy. Note that Buddy needs wide socialization and obedience training and a lot of patience.

What a sweet face! Do you know when he would be available for adoption?

Thank you!
