Meet Bogey, our newest foster pup! Reno/Tahoe/Sacramento area.

Bogey is a 6 year old neutered male Labradoodle. He's a happy, energetic, 72 lb. pup that had to be re-homed since he is a big guy who really didn't fit well in a city home. Bogey needs a lot of exercise so a place in the country with a large fenced yard or easy access to open space would be ideal.

He loves people and he gets along nicely with our 3 permanent doods, he's very non-aggressive and just a happy dog.

And he's cute!

He is a big boy, broad chested and very strong but loves walking on and off leash next to his people.

His first time in snow, he really had fun helping us find our Christmas tree!

Hi again Colin! I woke up this morning and checked my cell and email wondering if there was a message from you . . . I am working as a docent at the Getty all day, but will check to see if you have contacted me during lunch. Looking forward to hearing from you :). Bogey is adorable!

Hi Colin! I am not sure if you got my earlier message but YES, we are very interested in Bogey! Could you please email me ( or call me (541-941-8216) at your convenience? I just google mapped and we are a very doable driving distance - 7 1/2 hours. Very much worth it for a forever addition to our family :). We miss our Penny-doodle and are ready for our new addition whenever the right guy/gal comes along :)!

What a big guy he is - and so handsome.  Snow?  Way cool! It is in the 80s in So. Cal. today.

Mary, the leash is a WalkyDog Dog Bicycle Exerciser, got it on Amazon. It bolts to the seat post and we used a harness that has the leash ring on top so it is between the dog's shoulder blades. Dogs naturally like to walk with their people and with this attachment they really can't move far. Definitely for low-traffic side streets or trails but Susan only had one incident where someone started shouting at her about how cool it was.

Wow...he is beautiful!  Hey...I'd like to know how that works to attach your dog to your bicycle.  I bike a lot but am afraid of attaching a dog to the bike.

He is a real sweet boy. Likes to lay down in my office while I'm working, gets along great with the other 3 and he & Ernie teamed up today to try to run Kura down (didn't work but they got close!)
