Meet Max! An adorable 11 month old vizsla-poodle mix that was surrendered to the local animal services because his family did not have the time for him. Personally, I think Max was an outdoor dog. He craves being close to his family but at the same time isn't overly clingy. He already learned sit and is getting better good with "down". He is crate trained 100% now and will go in there during the day when I am home to sleep! Max is learning potty manners however he has had only two accidents in my house in over a week so I think he's doing very well :) He has a good mix of energy. He plays but after running around for a couple of minutes he is ready to nap for several hours. I work full time and he has stayed in his kennel without destroying his bed or toys. He has no mean bone in his body and is a total love bug. He is currently living with my goldendoodle and my min pin and has done great with both. Max is a hunter of lizards :) and has the softest coat. He is approximately 35 lbs but can gain about 10 lbs. He currently does not shed but who knows what he adult coat will look like except that one thing's for sure, he is gorgeous :) Max is now ready for his FUREVER home! <3

Wirehaired Vizsla is one of the two new AKC breeds. Just heard that today. Whatever Junior is-I love him!

Because it is so rare and the socioeconomic area where he was found, we feel sure that Junior isn't a Vizsla/poodle mix, but he resembles wirehaired Vizslas sooooo much - and that is one of the things my son LOVES about him.

Adriana, google Wirehaired Vizsla, it's a rare breed that looks a lot like Max.

Aww Junior is adorable! Max is a vizlsa poodle mix so who knows what he'll look like! I can't even find one online that looks like him :) He is a very very sweet pup!

Max is adorable! Last month Junior had a bout of shedding but has gone back to very little shedding. We hope this pattern continues. He is 9 months.  He also had his first - and very, very bad haircut - not from MY doodles' groomer.  Budget hack. He doesn't yet have lots of furnishings, but now he only has fly away whisps at the top of his ears.  He is a DRC rescue pup.

I'd be very surprised if he is a non-shedder with that straight shaggy coat. His coat looks just like JD's, and about 70% of all first-cross doodles do shed.

What a handsome boy!  Lizard hunting is prime at my house.

So far he is low shed, if any, but I am unsure if it's his adult coat already. He is a sweety :)
