I’ve been looking for love in all the wrong places…I was on the street for a while, before I ended up in a place called a shelter. I got food and water there but not much in the love department.

My foster mom keeps talking about this place called a forever home. Not sure what that means, but I hope it means food, lots of love and playtime. Did I mention I love to give kisses so this forever home place better have somebody I can kiss.

Since being sprung from the shelter, I’ve learned a couple of things. This place they call the vet is a terrible place…I walked in a happy dog and came out with very sore belly!! I’ve learned I’m a people person. I need to be with people all the time. I just don’t like to be apart from people, and frankly why would anyone want to leave my side for even a minute…just look at my face...I AM CUTE!

I’ve learned I make friends really easily except for with these things that look like dogs but hardly have any legs…they are quite silly looking and they bark a lot…my foster mom calls them Corgis. I’ve got a new BFF named Daisy. She looks just like me only black. I swear we could play 24/7. We are like Ebony and Ivory! I live with another really cute big black dog, I think he likes me but he is just playing hard to get...you know how men are!

I’ve also learned that I don’t always get my way. For example, why can’t I jump on people, I’m just trying to show them how excited I am to see them. My foster mom says with a little structure and love I can become a great dog. Whatever, I think I’m already perfect!

Take a look for yourself. Don't I look like a perfect angel?!

Wow - how adorable they are together. Looks like you'll have someone to share your tears with! Isn't it funny how things work out. You were really meant to be her foster after all. Its going to be hard to give her up.

Somebody's going to be awful sad when Annie leaves on Friday...

Jeannine: That is so great to hear. She's going to love having her new dad's undivided attention. You know those girls just wrap their dads around their fingers . . . er, tails. I hope Winston finds that special person, too. Give her a big hug from us.

UPDATE: Annie is going to her forever home this Friday. Her new dad is retiring in a couple of weeks and will have plenty of time to give her love and kisses! He is going to teach her all about being a good girl and channeling that puppy energy into agility! She is going to be a fantastic agility dog!! She will be living with 3 other dogs so she will have plenty of friends too.

It's going to be hard to let this one go...she is truly one special girl! Sweet as they come! I know I will cry (I'm such a big marshmallow for these dogs!) but I will also be super excited for her and her new home! No more running the streets for this gal...she's going to live life like it should be...happy and loved!!!

Thanks for posting! She tried to play with Mater, but he didn't seem to want to partake. I think he was still missing his buddy Gus! These two look like they are having so much fun! Annie does love to play and communicate with her (very gentle) mouth. I'm so grateful you could take her in and that she's happy. I can't wait till her forever home finds her!

Kathy, yes I have fallen head over heels for her...she is absolutely the sweetest and really a good girl! She is really a love! Her and Daisy play so cute together, I wish I could stay home all day and watch them. And speaking of not staying home, she throws a fit...crying and carrying on when I leave...she really really likes to be with her people! It makes me feel horrible, but she needs to learn to be alone too!
