We have had beautiful  Alfie for 1 week.  Poor Alfie was living with a family for around 6 months who gave him up because they had 3 small children, then he went to a senior couple who did not have the energy for a young Doodle.  Then poor Alfie was stuck in a terrible shelter who didn't put him on Petfinder for 3 weeks. We he first came to our home, he was frantically tryng to escape..  Of course, while here he has been neutered and is up to date on all his shots.  He is a 65 pound young guy and now he is calming down and turning into a lovable guy.  He rides well in the car, loves people, but he panics when he is confined.  We have let him have the run of the house and he is just fine.  He is perfectly housebroken and very gentle for a big guy!  He needs obedience training, but he will be a great pet.  He needs an experienced family and he will love them forever!

Poor Alfie, I'm glad he is now safe with you and I hope his forever family finds him soon!

Thank you for taking in Alfie!  I am always amazed at how much they can change (in a positive way :o) in such a short amount of time while being in foster care.

Awe...Alfie sounds like a great dog!  I have a 65 pound gentle giant who sounds alot like him!  He is so lucky to have you to show him the ropes!
