Little Miss Molly is slowly coming out of her shell. She slept for pretty much 36 hrs straight when we first got her, but has now started following me around the house and has even showed a little interest in toys. She does love the dog beds and the couch and due to her deafness, really enjoys a long deep nap!
Even though Molly seems to be pretty much completely deaf, we decided to change her name just in case she might have some hearing left. Michele Long suggested…

Molly arrived at our door step yesterday, thanks to the wonderful efforts of Ned Clancy who sprung Molly from a local shelter. Molly was microchipped, her owner was contacted, but shockingly, her owner left Molly to die in the shelter. Thanks to the efforts of DRC, Molly WILL have a happy ending!

Bogey spent his first 5 years trapped in a back yard in the Central Valley of California where it rarely snows more than a dusting. This past week we took Bogey and his foster brothers and sister to be groomed since all were looking a bit shaggy and on that day we had our first real snowfall of the winter, about 6". Bogey took right to it following the others outside on a nice winter walk down by the lake.

1st week has gone incredibly well. He listens and understands the house rules, gets along great with our dogs and anyone he meets: adults, children, and other dogs. Really a big sweet puppy that just needs an active family.
