Labradoodle Rescue & Goldendoodle Rescue
Many tears today as Jeannine and I watched our little Fidget girl Bella happily jump into the car of her new family and drive away towards her new life.
The Fidge has found her forever home with Gary and Donna here in NJ. Last report, " She has already made herself right at home" and like Jeannine and I Gary and Donna have fallen head over heels in love with her. Bella has already found her spot on Gary and Donna's…Continue
Buford had a BLAST today playing with the kids in the snow. He was tossing snowballs to himself and running and rolling. He even managed to snatch the hats off the kids and run away with them (he is only 9 months so we corrected the behavior even though it was amusing!)
He is adjusting well to our…Continue
Remi...I keep wanting to call her Sweetie. After 7 hours in the car, we are all home. She's had a nice bath, 2 walks around the block, been introduced to where her food and "place" are and she's having a ball.
All I have to say is.......
CUT FROM THE SAME CLOTH....lol...The Bellas have taken over the house!
"Sugar N Spice" meets "Piss N Vinegar"......."Yappy and Peppy and Bursting with Love..."
This weekend we made the trek to Manassas VA to bring home the sweetest doodle girl, Ember. We had a great trip and Ember was the best girl in the car. She just curled up on her bed in the back and was content. After several stops to the park, a friend's house and many potty breaks, we got home to Michigan about 10pm and…Continue
As some of you undoubtedly know, Judy and I rescue Maltese as well as Doodles.
Judy got a call several weeks ago regarding a Maltese puppy that had a broken leg and was in a cast. She was asked if we would foster her. We were up to our eyeballs in fosters at the time (nine fosters plus our own four Maltese and Holly, our Goldendoodle). However we can always find a place for a puppy.
We met the person in Oceanside, CA who had brought the "Maltese puppy"…Continue
Today we visited the wonderful folks at Santa Marietta Animal Hospital for one final heartworm test and to have Lacey's stitches removed from being spayed. I am happy to say that Lacey finally has a clean bill of health. Dr. McLean checked Lacey's heart again and no sign of the heart murmur she had we she joined us. So the murmur was indeed the result of the heart worms.
To celebrate Lacey and I took our first out in public walk. It was just "she and me" time. We went to Roswell…Continue
Well, I can't say enough good things about this boy. He is easy and settling in beautifully. But I hope he doesn't get tooooo comfortable because he will need a home of his own.
I am the 3rd stop in this little guy's 4th year of life. No fault of his own, just unfortunate circumstances. His first owner was overwhelmed with the two littermates she had imported from Australia. She gave Milo to a neighbor, who had him for a couple years but has now come across some hard…Continue
As you can tell, Buford is settling right in and making himself at home!
So you might be thinking "Buford"???? Well, it bizarrely suits him. He came into the household in a pretty bold way as if he owned the place. For those with kids who watch the Disney Channel, Buford is the neighborhood bully…Continue
Barkley has been settled in his forever home for a little over a week...and oh my gosh...do we love him to pieces! We have a daily regimen of 5 mile walks, ball throwing, along with lots of love and positive reinforcement. He is an amazing dog and his over-active behavior is calming down. Worked with a trainer yesterday and we'll meet every other week to teach Barkley sound manners and good behavior. He is so smart and very eager to please! We just need to learn to be one step ahead of…Continue
Ok Karen...this is for you. Here are some updated pics of Fozzie (Augie). He has adjusted very well to life in his new home in the past 6 months. He amuses me every day from being clumsy, watching TV, to sleeping in the bathtub. He has brought a lot of fun to us already!…Continue
Meet Hershey - my last foster. Is that not a face to love??? Hershey has been with my pack for about 5 weeks now and fits in like he was born to it. Hershey is a 1 1/2 year old chocolate Labradoodle (with a touch of white on his chest and a little gotee) that was found as a stray in a shelter in…Continue
