Hi! Before applying to adopt, be sure to read the link to DRC ADOPTION POLICIES AND PROCEDURES. http://doodlerescue.org/notes/DRC_ADOPTION_POLICIES_AND_PROCEDURES (application at top of page) Check the OUR ADOPTABLE DOODLES section. When you are looking at the pictures, notice that the two letters in front of the dog’s name mean the state they are being fostered in. While the DRC allows out of state applicants, they cannot transport the rescues and will not let them fly, so you need to be within driving distance of the foster. Here are some other ideas for finding a rescue doodle:
Click on the REGIONAL LISTINGS section for doodles with other organizations; PETFINDER (putting in all zip codes within driving distance); GOOGLE in shelters and humane societies within your driving range. Here us a helpful article on how to find a doodle on Petfinder and shelters: http://doodlerescue.org/group/isadoodleforyou/forum/topics/looks-like-a-doodle-to

Glenda, if you are interested in volunteering, please read the section above. Volunteers are needed - fostering, pulling from shelters, transporting.
