I am a lifetime dog lover. I work full-time, but my significant other is home during the day. He's a full time daddy to our two doodles. I own my home that is fully enclosed in the back. I have the time, desire and energy to help.
Do you currently own a dog? If not, have you owned dogs in the past? Any other pets?
I have two beautiful Labradoodles. Rosie, who is 4 years old and Stanley, who is 2. They are my pride and joy and I cannot imagine my life without them. They are my kids! I tell everyone that doodles are the best dog breed -- smart, energetic, loving and so sweet.
If you are looking to adopt a doodle, why have you chosen this mix?
I'm not looking to adopt at this time, but would like to volunteer my time including fostering. Our two doodles are friendly and loving.
Have you read our adoption policies, located under the "About DRC" tab?
Are you aware that many doodles are not allergy friendly and that many of them do shed?
Yes. I have two doodles.
Are you aware that we do not adopt to homes with children under 10, and that we do not adopt dogs for service work?
Are you now involved in Rescue? If so, how? Are you interested in volunteering with our rescue?
Not at this time, but am interested in helping however I can.

Hi Victoria, and welcome! Here is a link to the application to foster: http://doodlerescue.org/page/foster-application I will forward your name to our Southern California Director, Michele. My husband and I often pick dogs up at the shelter and transport them to the foster, so perhaps we will meet up. There is another website for doodle lovers called doodlekisses.com. There is a regional group on there (Southern California) and we meet up about once a month. The next meet up is on Feb. 15, at Arbor Dog Park in Seal Beach. It is a drop in from 12:30 - 3:00
