Looking to foster. I currently have my own rescues. Right now I am fostering a MaMa poodle with 4 tiny pups.We have a great system with an indoor area, and 3 separate and secure outdoor areas for dogs/pups depending on the age, health and ability. Always closely supervised and socialized!
Do you currently own a dog? If not, have you owned dogs as an adult, with vet records in your own name (not parents' names)?
Henry-standard poodle, neutered male
Sawyer-? Coton + sneaky little neighbor dog-rescue from Tijuana, spayed female
Sebastian-terrier mix, neutered male from high kill shelter in L.A. (he is our ambassador-he loves everything and everybody!)
Gus-probably a teacup poodle, 5 lbs, neutered male
If you are looking to adopt a doodle, why have you chosen this mix?
See above. We cannot add more pups long term but have fostered many!
Have you read our adoption policies, located under the "About DRC" tab?
Are you aware that many doodles are not allergy friendly and that many of them do shed?
Are you aware that we do not adopt to homes with children under 10, and that we do not adopt dogs for service work?
Are you now involved in Rescue? If so, how? Are you interested in volunteering with our rescue?
I have fostered dogs and cats for the San Clemente Animal Shelter for many years. Now I live in SD and just offer to foster when a rescue needs a safe home for Moms and pups, medically fragile dogs. I am a nurse practitioner and over the years have fostered pups and kittens requiring tube feedings and other medical care.
