Tell us about yourself and how we might help you:
proud mom of 2 doodles, Rosey & Bandit.. My pups are everything to me. I just got them both in the past year and they complete me. I also work full time as a project manager in information technology, website creation and support. I would like to help doodles in need.
Do you currently own a dog? If not, have you owned dogs as an adult, with vet records in your own name (not parents' names)?
Rosey 1 year old F1B GoldenDoodle
Bandit 8 month Austrailian Labradoodle
Have you read our adoption policies, located under the "About DRC" tab?
I got mine from breeders. I chose them because they were cute, great tempermant, smart, non shedding.
Are you now involved in Rescue? If so, how? Are you interested in volunteering with our rescue?
I am just starting to get involved. I want to help doodles in need.

I read your lovely , heartfelt description of your first encounter and continued caring for Gladwyn. I actually have submitted my application and his name along with it to be considered. Who knows maybe my husband and myself will be the right match for him. I am concerned, however, it by some miracle it would work out, how we could make it work and connect with you and get him to his new home. I'm knew to this "rescue" business that stretches from coast to coast. I've adopted a golden retreiver previously from a golden rescue but it was in West Virginia and within 2 hour drive of my home. I'm in awe of how so many caring people make these dreams come true for some many homeless, loving, deserving doodles and the people that complete them. Thank you for doing all that you do!!!

Hi Suzann,
Thanks for helping sweet Gladwyn find freedom! Would you mind putting a blog up about your rescue experience? Many of our volunteers might be considering helping out and might just need that "nudge"....
Thanks again.

It was in your response in the discussion on DK as to joining the DRC and your link to this page. This was the discussion about a rescue doodle's happy ending that got off topic and heated and Clark had to chastise Dr. Judy.

Suzann, welcome aboard. It is always great when we get another volunteer to help save as many homeless doodles as we can.

MY FRIEND GLADWYN! This is How We Met...

So let me just say that I feel PRIVILEDGED to be able to help Rescue Gladwyn. It was and will not be me alone to get this boy where he needs to be but here is my part of the story. I was a bit nervous about my first rescue but have found it to be an experience unlike any other.

So this poor boy, was found stray, living with a basset hound roaming around middle Michigan, which is pretty rural. As soon as they brought him out to me at the shelter he was waggin his tail and rubbin against… Continue
