I have two Goldendoodles, Molly who is 6 years old and adopted from Foxcreek Farms, and Clyde who is 2 years old and was rescued through the Doodle Rescue Collective. I'm looking forward to hearing about other Doodles and networking with other Doodle owners.
Do you currently own a dog? If not, have you owned dogs as an adult, with vet records in your own name (not parents' names)?
Molly is a sweet 6 year old. She's small, only weighing about 55 pounds. She was adopted from Fox Creek Farms in West Virginia. I wanted a Doodle and at the time it was almost impossible to find one through a rescue. We wanted a second one to keep her company and started working through the DRC to find one. We rescued Clyde in February. He's an bouncy 2 year old who is much bigger than Molly. He weighs about 70 pounds and his legs are very long. Molly can walk right under him by simply bowing her head. They're both wonderful and such great companions.
Have you read our adoption policies, located under the "About DRC" tab?
We initially chose Molly because our previous dog was a Golden Retriever. She was a wonderful dog and was part of our family for 15 years, but she shed like crazy. I was intrigued by the idea of getting a dog that wouldn't shed, yet had the Golden Retriever temperament and the Poodle intelligence. She certainly didn't disappoint us. I don't think I'd ever adopt anything but a Doodle ever again!
Are you now involved in Rescue? If so, how? Are you interested in volunteering with our rescue?
I'm interested in the discussions on various topics. Clyde has a sensitive stomach and I was able to learn a great deal about food allergies from these discussions. I also watched several video clips on how to groom a Doodle on your site that were very helpful.

One day, I want to have a little hobby farm. With lots of doodles romping around of course.
Can't wait to see photos of your two playing around :)
