Where are you located?: New Albany, Ohio(outside of Columbus)

Tell us about yourself and how we might help you:: We are animal lovers and advocates for all four legged furry friends that do not have their own voice.

Do you currently own a dog? If not, have you owned dogs as an adult, with vet records in your own name (not parents' names)?: Lizzy (2 yr.old) Goldendoodle and Sammy (2 yr.old) MiniSchnauzer and 4 kitties from 8 months to 17 years.

Have you read our adoption policies, located under the "About DRC" tab?: Personality, gentleness and big brown eyes with apricot eyelashes. We rescued a doodle from a local family who no longer wanted her. She is a joy and has fit right into our Animal House!

Are you now involved in Rescue? If so, how? Are you interested in volunteering with our rescue?: We were involved in the Doodle Train getting Tucker to his forever home. We assume he is now basking in the sunshine on the beach in Massachusettes.

I feel like it's raining "DOODLES". There seems to be so many more doodles on our site and all over the country that need our help than I have noticed before?

A great movie for dog lovers

On a lighter note for the holiday, I just wanted to share with the group that we watched a great movie last evening. It's called "Hachi, A Dog's Story" with Richard Gere. If you haven't seen it, run immediately to the video store. It reinforces why we do what we do here and the value that our precious pets give to us. AND, get the kleenex out...but it's worth it.

Just a reminder for everyone-even a fence can't keep those long doodle legs from making a jump if they really want to. I have been very remiss myself in getting the "kids" done which we accomplished last Monday. I kept thinking about it and somehow didn't make the time. Now, I feel very relieved.....I would never have forgiven myself if either Lizzy or Sammy had gotton away somehow and we had no way to have them identified.
