Hi Karla. If you are seeking help for Duke's anxiety, you might want to talk to your vet or a trainer. There is another website you might join called doodlekisses.com that has thousands of doodle owner members who might give you advice as to what they have done to help their anxious dogs. One of my dogs cannot be left alone - he is okay at home with us or dogs he knows. If left alone, he tries to get out to find us and howls until he is covered in his own slobber - it is so sad and breaks our hearts. We have just adjusted to his needs by never leaving him alone. Our rescue was not anxious by nature but I know he was very 'needy' when we got him and didn't like being out of our sight. It took a while for him to settle in and realize that he would not be abandoned again and that we were keeping him forever.
Karla, we have a rehome program, that's what we do. We are a non-for-profit, registered 501c3 rescue group and we find new homes for doodles. But I need to know exactly where you got him: if a rescue group, I need to know the name of the group. If a breeder, i need to know who.
Yes, I'm in IL, in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago.

Karla, where did you rescue Duke from?
