Tell us about yourself and how we might help you:
I live with my fiance and the two dogs. I am a total animal nut! I volunteer for 4 hours a week at a local animal hospital. I hope to go into Veterinary Technology in the next year or so. I love the furry animals and the slithery, scaley kinds!

I wanted to be a part of this group because of the people. I have met some great friends here. I love sharing stories and advice with others. Such a great sense of community!
Do you currently own a dog? If not, have you owned dogs as an adult, with vet records in your own name (not parents' names)?
I have a 2nd generation Doodle named Tessa. She is 2 and a half years old and weighs 61lbs. She's all legs!

Tessa lives with a Beagle/Boxer cross brother named Cody who is also 2 and half. He was a PJ's Pet doggie. Never again will I buy from a pet store! My ignorance on puppy mills etc was something I wish I didn't have at the time. Now I am knowledgeable and will not support such operations.

I also have a 3 year old ball python named Mosby.
Have you read our adoption policies, located under the "About DRC" tab?
Ludwig's Doodles - Marsha Ludwig
Zephyer, Ontario

I chose this breed because of their personalities and non-shedding coat. Tessa is mostly curl... it's wonderful!
Are you now involved in Rescue? If so, how? Are you interested in volunteering with our rescue?
No, I am not.
Great shop for cute and cozy dogs bed! All sizes :)

Hi all! I used to write regularly but when sadly the site was taken down I lost everything! Sniff* Ah well, I can have fun starting again!

Doggy snuggles............

Chris and I are in the midst of finishing off some long drawn out renovations. The dogs have been gems about the lack of space and mess. We have been very fortunate for that. On Saturday, we were busy putting on new hardware on the kitchen cabinets. Cody snuggled his bum onto his blankey in our bedroom and… Continue

Doing pretty good. Just got back fromthe vet-Got both kids Microchipped!! Sammy can't get over the fence and although Lizzy never has-I bet she could with her looong legs. Makes me feel a little more secure if she ever did and got lost. But, Lizzy got diagnosed with a yeast infection in both ears so as soon as we got Sam's cone collar off(from his little wound from getting caught on the fence), we're back to medicating the other one. Never ends with fur kids:) Anyway, just what kind of renovations are you guys doing? We have been doing stuff a little at a time. Did the fencing last year and patio. This year we got new stove, frig, garage door opener, storm doors etc. Saving my money to do hardwoods on the first floor. Next time, it will be new house with space for another doodle!

Hi Jenny,
My rescue threw a DNA test came back a very rare breed from Japan called a Kishu. It is in the spitz family and is only breed in Japan. This dog is breed for hunting and guardings and needs lots of excercise with mental stimulation. That is why she was returned 3 times for behavior issues. She does have a high prey drive. Threw lots of work she is now allowed to go on play dates with certain dogs that I know. She is a alot of fun. She is a snuggler and does love Mya to an extent. Or should I say tolerates her. Hee Hee. Cody looks like a dog I am training now with storm phobeas. Well gotta run. Have a great day. Debbie

Hi Jenny - Thanks for the friend request. I'm sorry it took so long for me to respond. I've been in the processing of moving to my summer place in the mountains and things were a little crazy at home. Your dogs are adorable and the Dood looks a lot like my Molly.

Hi Jenny,
I got Mya from paige of coulee labradoodles. I was to get her form manorlake labradoodles in seattle but they could not produce the color I wanted red. Coulee didn't either. hee hee She was to be a red medium wavey fleece. She is more white with little bites of red not much a small standard and she is not wavey fleece. She is more curley fleece. But... I love her anyway. She is a cutie. We did some therapy work this week for her first visit and she did great. She already has her CGC. I think she is doing good for 2 years old. Well tell me more about your lovely one. Debbie

Hi Jenny,
Mya looks alot like your beautiful doodle Tessa. I did get her from canada. Maybe they are related. :) Mya loves to dress up but her big sister Kasey just puts up with it to make me happy. Well you have a great night. :) Aloha Debbie & Mya & Kasey

I researched minis for the same reason. Small house + small yard = small dog! I LOVE my girls! Their personalities are exactly the same (I have fostered all sizes of doodles) as the standards. They are smart, energetic, funny and absolutely adorable. Can't go wrong!!! Sunnie and Gidget are sisters and look completely different! Tessa is beautiful! Perfect dood!
