Tell us about yourself and how we might help you:
Just want to learn about what other doddles parents do if they have problems. Goldie is 10 and the love of my life...she nips at her front paws and I'm alway pulling her mouth away. I do spray her paws. Wipe them when she come in from outside. Any other Suggestions?
Tell us about your dog(s) and/or other pets that you have:
Goldie is 10 years old goldendoddle. She is stubborn. But I love her. Loves to play inside but she is not big on running outside. It's hot in Florida.
If you are looking to adopt a doodle, why have you chosen this mix?
Because I have a Doodle now and saw Joey picture and love at first sight.
Have you read our adoption policies?
Are you aware that many doodles are not allergy friendly and that many of them do shed?
Yes .. Goldie sheds a little.
Are you aware that we do not adopt to homes with children under 10, and that we do not adopt dogs for service work?
Are you now involved in Rescue? If so, how? Are you interested in volunteering with our rescue?
Maybe. Afraid I might get to attached to dog. But willing to try if u need me.

Yes Goldie is taking fish oil & Benadryl 2x a day per her vet. It just hard to watch her scratch. She gets bath on a regular six weeks schedule.

Hi Hope, welcome to the DRC website. It sounds like Goldie has allergies, which are very common in goldendoodles and labradoodles, and do become worse as the dogs get older. Ideally, you would consult a veterinary dermatology specialist about this. Here is some other info that may help: http://www.doodlekisses.com/group/healthandmedicalissues/forum/topics/some-basic-facts-about
