I am a dog lover and believe in supporting rescue groups. I am interested in adopting a Doodle or perhaps at some point becoming a foster.
Do you currently own a dog? If not, have you owned dogs in the past? Any other pets?
Currently in our home is our 15 year old Chocolate Lab whom we have had since he was 6 months old and left alone while his owner went on an extended trip. We took him into our lives and he has been my husbands constant companion ever since!
If you are looking to adopt a doodle, why have you chosen this mix?
We have always had Labs and Golden Retrievers over our 36 years of marriage. My first dog however was a Standard Poodle named Pepe. I have always thought the mix of a Lab/Golden/poodle is the perfect mix. Loving, intelligent, playful, friendly, loyal dogs.
Have you read our adoption policies?
Are you aware that many doodles are not allergy friendly and that many of them do shed?
Are you aware that we do not adopt to homes with children under 10, and that we do not adopt dogs for service work?
Are you now involved in Rescue? If so, how? Are you interested in volunteering with our rescue?
Yes. I am a volunteer with our local rescue group, Augusta Dog Adoptions. We recently did a fund raiser at our business for one of the pups in the rescue who is in need of major surgery. I help when I can at adoption days.

Yes, both were received. Give it some time to hear back, as we have been swamped with emails and applications this past week, due ot the listing of Buddy the pup in CA; more than 100 applications for the one dog alone.
We have not received an application under the name Ginger LeMasurier.
Please be sure that you sent it to the correct email, as there is another rescue group with a name similar to ours.
There has been an ongoing issue with the rescue email; fortunately we do have a backup. You can send an email to our adoption coordinator at email@example.com asking her to check for your application. Sorry for the inconvenience.
