Another success story of DRC. Zev was a rehome and I was the lucky foster mom who got to have this big baby boy in our home. He hadn't really been around other doodles much, so his first few days with my doodles was difficult. He tried to bite…Continue

DH finally got home last night and it had been almost 2 weeks since we had seen him. The doods went crazy - all tail wagging and bringing him their toys as a welcome. I had warned dh that Stuart had totally matured from a puppy look and that he no…Continue

Lola arrived at her new home on Friday to find flags and streamers welcoming her. While her new mom was anxiously waiting in the driveway and Dad was trying to appear calm while he waited excitedly in the house. After a quick hello Lola was off to…Continue

Chloe has found her forever home with Sandy L. It was love at first sight, and the two have been best friends from day one! The day she went home, she "checked out every room, drank water from the dish in the kitchen, played with her new toy and…Continue

Update on Ziva:
Ziva is thriving and loving life in her forever home. She weighs about 50 pounds and loves to romp with Max and Dudley. She is totally attached to Roger and never leaves his side. She has finally warmed up to me, but is still skittish when anyone else approaches. We are keeping her trimmed fairly short due to matting. She is mostly black with some wild white hairs here and there and tufts of brown mixed in. She is a lover and seems to be very comfortable with us.
Follow up on Fitz (aka Scottie- one of the Three Amigos):
We call him the "Entertainer" - he keeps us laughing all the time. The photo with my DH is one of his rare restful moments. He IS a snug-a-bug and must have his morning hugs & kisses before anyone can do anything else. For the past 2 months he's been going to Choo Choo Doggie Day Camp once a week where he's been chosen as the Best Dog of the Day on two occasions. He is still anxious around strangers, and the wonderful folks at the doggie day camp have been a great support.
We love our Fitz and cannot imagine life without him!
Just wanted to update on Molly, my doodle I adopted from DRC in Jan 2010. This was her first Christmas with us and here are a couple of pictures of her and Sadie. Molly on the left and Sadie on the right with their presents.
Playing tug-o-war outside in the snow, one of their favorite games.
She loves to run and play in the snow
Looks like the tug-o-war was a draw!
Sadie and I are very happy that Molly came to live with us. My two girls get along very well and love to play together.
Happy New Year to all.
